ID Mobile review

i really, really, wanted not to have anything to complain about regarding this company. The set up was quick and seamless. I was very surprised at how quickly it all went without issue. I love the Unlimited Sim Only deal for £20 pcm. This is a fantastic deal. Where ID Mobile really lets me down and scares me is with the intermittent signalling. I'm disabled and have just been diagnosed with another serious condition. When the signal goes, I get very scared and very worried that I will not have the ability to call for help due to signal issues.
Im actually just about to ask ID Mobile to please help with this issue as i just cannot keep living in fear all the time.

I wouldn't give this company 1 star if I didnt have to.
I am disgusted with the service I have received like many of you I have tried to talk to a human being. They contact you when it suits them and make up rules as they go along. I have today sent my case to the communications ombudsman and I will not stop until I get justice against this company. If anyone wants to contact me and we can group together to put all our complaints to the communications ombudsman. My solicitor told me on 22nd July that they have done everything wrong and I have done everything right and I am also pursuing them via the communications ombudsman for compensation . They have caused me stress and even sent my so called debt to a debt collection agency . I have never been so embarrassed and upset in my life having been contacted by C.A.R.S. This company are imcompetent , rude , aggressive and should not be allowed to trade. Reply to this review and we can get together and at least help to ensure no other people have to suffer like we have.
If you wish to go to the communications ombudsman look it up online . This review company wont allow me to add the link.

The ombudsman people are amazing and very helpful, it will take around 8 weeks for them to investigate each case but the service is free of charge .

AVOID I.D mobile AT ALL COST

AVOID AT ALL COST, abysmal and terrible customer service, been told 3 different things, calls failing not working on 4G, FOBBED OFF, went through hours of complaint calls no resolve, contract not fulfilled by them, asked me to stay on 3g forever. going to Ombudsman and will never recommend ID, go elsewhere its really a nightmare.

Left EE and joined this lot. Can’t complain, the change over went smoothly and I believe I got a great sim only deal. More than happy.

Shame I can’t put 0000

Shame I can’t put 0000. 3 weeks no network signal in my location. Many years of being a three customer prior to using ID mobile I know the problem. It’s network problem not a problem with my phone. Sort it out or let me out of my contract.

Bargain price for quality service

I have had my sim only contract with iD Mobile for a few months now so thought it was time to comment. The service has been great. The price is fantastic (cheaper than any other network) so much so I am going to be getting an iPhone 12 on contract with them once I can upgrade at the end of six months. Check out their prices they really are much cheaper than other networks. I was previously with EE and don't regret moving to iD

All good with iD

Moved from 3 to iD because they were more cost effective and I was having issues with my 3 account, which weren’t being sorted. I have found iD easy to work with and received everything in good time and with clear instructions. I have had no issues with coverage at all.

By far the worse network I’ve ever had

By far the worse network I’ve ever had! Always cutting out and when I do manage to have a conversation with someone, they can never hear me clearly. I wish I read the reviews on here before committing to a 2yr deal with ID. I strongly recommend choosing another network!

Customer service non existent

My May bill was higher than usual, without any out of plan charges. On the bill itself nowhere it explains why I was charged more. I'm yet to speak to a human being, I've tried different days of the week and different times of the day, but all I get is their Chatbot,which is as much of a help as an ashtray on a motorbike.

Signal/customer service

Signal is always poor and keep getting cut off. Both our phoned have been faulty from day one. We can go days without being able to make/receive calls. Cannot send pics on messages. Been on live chat for hours with absolutely no resolve. Queued in shop for hours. Still got 12 months contract of this rubbish.

I am currently with id mobile and i pay…

I am currently with id mobile and i pay around £50 a month but never get signal. i can never have a chat with my family without being cut off. my 4g never works i always have to use 3g which is extremely slow.

i always check the network service checker and my area is supposed to be good

such a waste of money and now stuck with this for 2 years

It cheap and reliable what more do you want

It cheap and reliable what more do you need.
I been with EE for the last 10 years and I have now switched to ID due the the fact that I needed a better plan for work, and if I would’ve stayed with my old provider I would’ve been paying and extra 10 to 20 quid for the same package that I’ve got with ID. Furthermore EE has been claiming to be the UK best provider for some years know and to be honest I see no difference between the services that I receive off ID and EE and because off this I do some times forget that I’ve changed provider as they perform the same or better then EE

Wanted to change to a better plan

Wanted to change to a better plan, always been with Vodafone but they just couldn't compete with the ID offer. Since switching to them, I've had no coverage issues (something I was concerned about), so all in all, its a win win.
